Alta Moda signed Dolce & Gabbana: part 2

The female universe is at the center of the second act signed Dolce and Gabbana and dedicated to the tailoring tradition Made in Italy.

The charming staircase of the Villa Bardini garden in Florence hosted the Alta Moda Fall Winter 2020 fashion show, where many models have contributed to create a magical and ancient atmosphere, thanks to the wonderful weaves of plants and the evocative colors of the Tuscan residence.

The event commemorates the re-birth, not only from a difficult moment for the whole world, but also the Italian fashion, as happened in the past thanks to Giovan Battista Giorgini. The Renaissance is still an inspiring landscape for the two designers, who have enclosed their aesthetic vision and Italian craftsmanship tradition in a simply beautiful collection.

Spring is the protagonist, thanks to the various floral combinations on the garments and the colors used, which vary from pastel tones to intense fruity shades. Roses, Dahlias and other flowers are hand-embroidered and applied on soft and refined volumes as in a collage. Three-dimensionality and density distinguish the Alta Moda garments of Dolce and Gabbana. Another fundamental element is the reference to the Florentine territory, rich in architectural works that have always been admired and this time projected on dresses and capes, through the artistic skill of tailors. Precious materials and fabrics, such as silk, lace and refined leathers, are embellished with stones, crystals and gold or silver reflections. Dolce & Gabbana plays with lengths and dimensions, which contrast harmoniously: wide skirts join daring bodices with chiffon details, austere fabrics are combined with feathered patterns and bold silhouettes.

To complete the looks, flat shoes and jewel bags stand out the Renaissance elegance of the combinations and make all women shine a new light. Finally, huge hats surround these ethereal figures and sought-after jewelry recall the main elements of the Italian universe.
